This Summer, Markeim Arts Center is celebrating our wonderful Members with an exclusive multi-media, juried exhibition entitled “Imagination Inspiration”. See paintings, mosaics, ceramics, paper sculpture, and winning entry "Beautiful Little Fool" by artist Joey Rihl.

KIDS SUMMER ARTS CAMP 2023

Create Like An Artist!  Explore Like A Scientist!  Move With Yoga!

School's out and Markeim is the place to be this Summer! Join us for 8 weeks of fun, sure to tap into every child's interest! Campers will be introduced to a wide range of creative and exploratory learning opportunities from famous artists and art styles to process art, and STEAM. Weekly themes will include Sand & Sea, Outer Space, Colors/Nature, Superheroes/Princesses, STEAM Week, Bugs & Butterflies, Dinosaurs & Fossils, and Art Around The World. Kids art lessons will focus on 2-D and 3-D projects, painting, drawing, collage, mixed media, and clay. Daily guest artists will teach science lab, wildlife, yoga, music, dance, martial arts, outdoor obstacles and more! We’ll celebrate every Friday with ice pops for all!
