Calling all Swifties and creatives! In this empowering, hands-on workshop, tweens and teens will create their own vision boards and collages inspired by the lyrics, eras, and themes of Taylor Swift’s music.
Through guided activities set to a curated playlist of Taylor’s most iconic songs—from “You Belong with Me” to “Bejeweled”—participants will explore themes of identity, growth, dreams, friendship, dealing with disappointments and empowerment. Using magazines, art supplies, and lyric prompts, students will reflect on who they are and who they’re becoming—crafting unique visual expressions of their inner world and future hopes.
This workshop blends creativity, music appreciation, and personal development in a safe, inclusive, and inspiring space. Whether your teen is a lifelong Swift fan or just loves to make art, they’ll leave with a meaningful piece that reflects their story—and a boost of confidence in their voice.
No art experience necessary—just bring your imagination and love for self-expression! All materials provided.
This course is led by Gloucester City High School art teacher Katelyn Doherty who also holds a MA in Art.
