All Ages Welcome with Caregiver

Have you ever wondered how mermaids communicate? They use their shell phones! In this class, each child will receive a clam shell cut out. Then our mermaid will teach everyone how to add their numbers. The last step will be decorating! Students will use stickers to make their shell phone unique. Once everyone is finished, our mermaid princess will lead the class in songs, games, and picture time! Adults are welcome to stay and watch the magic!

Instructor: Brooke Caroline Burns

Brooke Caroline Burns is a local actor and performer. In 2020, she earned a degree in Musical Theatre and a minor in Drama Therapy from Marymount Manhattan College. You may have seen her at a birthday party as Elsa, Ariel, Rapunzel, and various princesses through her own Party Princess company, “Book Brooke.” She also has been in a number of productions at the Broadway Theatre of Pitman since 2019. From 2021-2023, Brooke taught theatre classes at the Tony Award winning Paper Mill Playhouse in Millburn, NJ. Teaching theatre to young actors is one of her passions. Theatre is a beautiful way for everyone to express themselves, while also learning valuable life lessons. She hopes you join her class and can’t wait to see what you will create together!
