Art of the Lego

Join us for a fun-filled afternoon supporting The Haddon Fortnightly and the Markeim Arts Center on Saturday, October 26 from 1-5 p.m.
Show off your bricktastic building abilities as you compete with peers of your own age for prizes and inclusion in a special Art of the Lego exhibition at the Markeim!
Register to compete in one, two, (or all) of the following categories.
Age Groups: (1) 5-7; (2) 8-10; (3) 11-13; (4) 14-17; (5) 18+
The entry fee is $20 per category.

1. Entries must be built ahead of time, be no larger than 12” x 12” x 12”, use only LEGO blocks (including age appropriate DUPLO blocks – no sharing of pieces), no technical motorized pieces, must be your own creation (not a LEGO kit) and built solely by the person entering the event.
2. Open to all age groups.

1. You will be given a particular design with instructions and blocks (provided by the event planners).
2. Best time will be announced as the winner at 5pm.
3. A time limit will be set after a reasonable finish time has been established.
4. Open to age groups (2), (3), (4) & (5)
1. You must use blocks provided by event planners that have been placed in a bag. (Entrants can feel but not see the blocks.)
2. Judged on best and closest to the chosen design concept (design concept to be announced).
